Celebrating Our Members Embarking on Their Drum Corps Summer
Texas Sinfonia is bursting with pride as three of our exceptionally gifted members prepare to take the spotlight this summer. Mason Clark, Owen Clark, and Wyatt Andrews, our esteemed brothers, take center stage this summer with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, embarking on an extraordinary musical journey this season. Their unwavering commitment and outstanding skill will be showcased on the grandest stage of the marching world, leaving us in awe.
What sets these talented individuals apart is not only their musical prowess, as they are all gifted music majors here at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music, but also their leadership capabilities. All three have been entrusted with serving on the corps' leadership team, acting as invaluable leaders and role models throughout the season. Notably, Mason Clark has assumed the distinguished position of 2023 Horn Sergeant, an honor that speaks volumes about his exceptional abilities. (We love y’all so much omg!)
The opportunity to tour with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps represents the culmination of years of tireless dedication, immense passion for music, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Through their unwavering commitment to their craft and their boundless enthusiasm for exploring new artistic boundaries, these individuals inspire us beyond belief and we can’t wait to see them perform.
In a recent video interview, Mason Clark expressed his exhilaration for the upcoming season, stating,
"The talent level is truly extraordinary this year, and I cannot wait to witness the remarkable journey that lies ahead."
Echoing the sentiment, when asked about the season Owen Clark enthusiastically added,
"I am thrilled to be marching another season alongside my brothers! The show we have prepared is nothing short of mind-blowing, and I am eager for the world to witness our collective brilliance."

Boston Crusaders’ production of "White Whale" is inspired by Herman Melville’s great American Novel, Moby Dick. It offers a turbulent ocean adventure filled with gritty characters while exploring the realms of philosophy, science, history, and politics with intrigue and insight. Catch our brothers and many other fantastic performers at the 2023 DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio, Tx July 22nd.
